General Clark,
Thank you for being you.  You've made me believe in something again, something bigger than myself.  I'd forgotten that there were people like you in this world--people who are pure goodness.  Everytime I learned more about you, I became more amazed.
I hope you take the time now to enjoy your retirement.  You deserve it.  You owe us nothing more.  I hope we can forever see you as a shining light to inspire us to go on and strive to make the world the place you know and we now know it can be.
