Dear Mr. Broder,

I am writing to thank you for the few kind words you wrote about
General Clark, speaking of his gracious endorsement of John Kerry.
You expressed what hundreds of thousands of his supporters already
knew - that this man is a General of Generals!

A politician he may not be, but with a heart as big as Texas, he
drew in people wherever he went with his gracious charm and superior
intellect. From the moment I first met him, I was struck by his
personna - the direct gaze, the unflagging attention he gave to each
and every person he spoke to, and most of all his concern for the
welfare of the troops and his country.

Here is a man who truly embodies the words he lives by: Duty, Honor
and Country
