As the entire rationale for Operation Iraqi Liberation continues to collapse, and our "peaceful occupation" slowly turns into Vietnam in the Sands, the Regime and its flacks become ever more desperate to Protect The Lie. We will be hearing the most outrageous horseshit lies and contortions of logic imaginable. No matter what they say at this point, they may as well try to float the notion that Saddam Hussein was secretly being aided by the Klingon Empire, who decided to cover up their involvement by beaming up all the weapons to their orbiting battlecruisers. Because for every increasingly transparent lie that's put forth, "the WMDs were all beamed up by the Klingons" theory makes as much sense as any other.
