Axis of evil: Russia's rift with U.S. deepens

MOSCOW DEC. 24. The rift between Russia and the
United States on the ``axis of evil'' states deepened
today, as Moscow reiterated its opposition to a unilateral
U.S. attack on Iraq, moved forward on nuclear
cooperation with Iran and blamed Washington for
increased tension over the North Korea's nuclear
programme.
