"Joe Lieberman Denied Democrats Three Times Before The Imus Cock Crowed This Morn"

For some reason, I really like Joe and Hadassa Lieberman as people but I can't
support his performance on Imus this morning.

First denial: Imus remarked what a sleazebag administration Clinton's administration
was....Lieberman deflected with I don't know what to say to that....

Second denial: Imus said Gore had trouble with the truth saying he'd invented the
internet and all....Lieberman deflected with a joke...He didn't invent the internet?

Third denial: Imus said that all the corporate corruption was exposed after Clinton left
office and they had been getting away with murder...Lieberman deflected with we all
had a good time but some at the top got greedy...never mentioning his own role in
weakening conflict of interest rules regarding accounting firms and consulting firms and
their clients and never mentioning the Clinton adminstrations attempt with Arthur Levitt
to do something about it that was defeated, with Lieberman and Dodd right in amongst
the obstructors.
