God Says Shut Up And Be Happy

In step with President Bush's faith-based initiative, the government on
Thursday sent money from its child support programs to religious and
nonprofit organizations so they can promote marriage, because you know,
gosh, that sure works, and if there's anyone you should be listening to
these days regarding relationship and love advice, it's some
quasi-religious group from Cleveland called The Marriage Coalition, who
just got a nice 200 grand from ShrubCo, to tell you that poor people to
stick it out those loveless marriages no matter how miserable or
spiritually dead you may feel, do it for the children, do it for God, do
it for the prescription behavioral med industry, do it for the guilt, do
it because we don't dare promote condoms and contraceptives instead.
