Yet Another Hoax Alert Revealed - to think Jr Personally Ordered the Manhunt!

WASHINGTON, Jan 6 (Reuters) - The FBI has concluded the information that led
to a hunt for five men thought to have entered the United States illegally on
Christmas Eve was fabricated by an informant, ABC News reported on Monday.

Citing unnamed sources, the report said the informant identified as Michael
John Hamdani, who was arrested in Canada, made up the story about 19 men
who sought false passports in an attempt to get himself off the hook on
criminal charges he was facing in the United States.

According to the story investigators originally got, five men entered the United
States from Canada using phony British passports forged by a Pakistani
smuggling ring, the report said.

This was not as much fun as the one from last year detailing which new York landmarks would be blown. That was outstanding because the "informer" had all his New York knlowledge from a ...King Kong movie...
In fact, this hoax, reminded me of the real story, when Clinton actually aprehended some real terrorists - coming from Canada intent to mess up the Millenium celebration...As usual, a Bush falling short, trying to compete - but terrorizing us in the process. Saving Dubya's personal implication from the memory hole:

"We don't have any idea of what their intentions might be, but we are mindful that
there are still some out there who would try to harm America and harm Americans
and so, therefore, we take every threat seriously, every piece of evidence seriously,"
President Bush said Tuesday as he ordered the search.
