"Ha!Ha! Corporations start to turn against Chimpy!"



— NEW YORK (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. said on Monday that it
was teaming with General Motors Corp. and dozens of other major
U.S. companies to support a University of Michigan minority
student admissions policy.

Other Fortune 500 companies signing the brief include 3M, Abbott
Laboratories, Bank One, Boeing Co., Coca-Cola, Intel, Johnson &
Johnson, Pfizer, and Sara Lee .

The stance by these large corporate employers puts them at odds
with President Bush, whose administration has sounded its
opposition to the University of Michigan programs for using race
as a key factor in admissions decisions.More...
