"shrub endangers DC, leaves capital, demands snow plows for return "

SIX snow plows for shrub's entrance to OUR Nation's Capital, Camp David to DC, while
hospitals, fire depts wait....water treatment plants, senior citizens assisted living, wait
and wait...as shrub needs his Camp David vacation and left DC with our duct tape, a
war, a high terrorist alert, a missing Osama bin Laden, a nuclear crisis in Korea, and
two storms in route to DC....and then the snow plows must clear shrubs path...while the
most important areas, needing snow removal to save lives, wait for king george...only
an idiot would go up to the mountains (Camp David) in the winter, in front of TWO
predicted major snow storms...

hello king george, there is a state of emergency here in OUR Nation's Capitol, do you
think you might come back to your job anytime soon?, your job includes the WH, the
Peoples House where we expect you to live and work once in a while.....and don't
believe that WH spin at end of article, since at noon, local radio noted that shrub was
still up at Camp David, and WP put out this article at 7 PM to cover for shrub...by
leaving OUR Nation's Capitol, shrub let us know again that he reads little caterpillar
books while the Nation is under emergency....let them use duct tape....

WP: Snowstorm Pummels Washington Area
Sunday, February 16, 2003; 7:07 PM

A thick layer of dry, grainy snow engulfed Washington today, snarling traffic, closing
airports, shutting churches and museums, sending homeowners out repeatedly to
shovel and delighting children heading for the sledding hills.

The National Weather Service reported that 10 to 16 inches of snow had fallen by
midday across the region, with the northern and western areas around the city being hit
the hardest. Snow was coming down at a rate of about an inch an hour this morning,
and heavy snows were expected to continue throughout the day and into tomorrow.
The National Weather Service said the area could get as much as two feet of snow by
the time the storm tapers off on Monday.

Maryland Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., Virginia Gov. Mark Warner and city officials in the
District of Columbia have all declared a state of emergency. That allows extra state
resources, including National Guard troops, to be used to help citizens if necessary.

President Bush headed home from Camp David in rural Maryland early today, but the
storm forced him to travel by car instead of helicopter. The trip, normally a 90-minute
drive, took about 2 1/2 hours. A half dozen snow plows cleared I-270 about 15
minutes before the presidential motorcade came through, but White House officials
said the road work was unrelated to Bush's travels.
