4starVP wrote on the last thread that the closing of the Little Rock HQ seemed to indicate that the General is going back in to the private sector and is not being considered for VP.
This means nothing of the sort.  The Clark campaign has to liquidate its assets.  Also, there is absolutely no reason Kerry would want the expense of maintaining a campaign HQ in Little Rock in MARCH.  He won't hit Arkansas until after the convention.
After the convention, there will be lots of money.  Usually, campaign headquarters in states and cities are not rented space, but are the Democratic Party owned buildings.  Rarely is space outside of party headquarters used.  Therefore, there is no need for a campaign office in Little Rock for Kerry, or for General Clark.  If Clark is chosen as VP, he will use Kerry's money and Kerry's campaign offices.
