Another very cool letter to CNN from my politicially astute son (LMAO!!):
Dear Inside Politics Producers:
I have a tip for you that you missed when you interviewed retired Gen. Wesley Clark today.
During the interview, host Judy Woodruff produced a letter from Clark to Democratic supporters asking for money for Sen. John Kerry's campaign. She then alluded that Clark was somehow trying to "woo" Kerry for the vice presidency.
However, what she, and you, failed to do was a little research. All you had to do was read the message source on the e-mail and see that, while the letter said: A Message from Wes Clark, the properties indicate that the e-mail, itself, was from the Kerry camp.

As you can see, Clark is not "pandering" to Kerry in any way. The e-mail was sent BY the Kerry campaign.
And, I think Clark finally got YOU - when he said he wasn't interested "in that," he meant, of course, talking about the nuances behind the e-mail - not about whether he wanted to be vice president. I'm glad he's finally learned to out-maneuver you guys!
Sincerely,
Ramzey O.
