Me, too!
My voting place in Boston has, apparently, made tentative steps into the
electronic age -- oh, say, close to the beginning of the electronic age.
Up until last year, we had the old lever machines. Today, I was surprised
to be greeted with an optical character reader system. Reminded me of all
those standardized tests I took in school -- filling in the little circle
next to the "correct" answer. This time, though, I had little difficulty
ascertaining the right answer -- Wes, of course!
It felt good to be able to vote FOR someone (as opposed to voting AGAINST
someone else) ... but, a few tears did well up as I left the polls.
Keeping the faith,
Jodie
