Because of John's reminder, I just got off the phone with a couple dozen
longtime friends in NYC -- they didn't know much about the candidates but
they all said they trusted my "research" into which one was the best to
back -- of course, I told them WES IS STILL THE BEST. All of them are
dragging their significant others & any friends to the voting booths tonight
after work to vote....they know how much I have always despised
Chimpface and Karl Rove's GOP machine (they do, too, but are less
"political") so they trust me when I say that the chances of beating Bush in
the fall would be far greater with Clark on the ticket than without, so they
are voting for Clark to help him become VP.

I have been calling voters in CA as well, thanks to Joe Rubio. The
majority of people on the list that I spoke with are going to vote for Wes!!
Most of them agreed that Wes Clark would make up the strongest ticket
going up against Bsuh/Cheney in the fall and agreed to vote for Wes today
as it's obvious Kerry will have no trouble winning. I enjoyed convincing
people not to vote for Edwards, too. :O)
