Happy, happy Martisor for me!
My care package from Cheryl Polling came - an All Patriot no act T-shirt - perfect for tonight meet-up/tomottow voting. :-) Suzy hart's button "Ask me about Wes Clark" with that gorgeous BW pic was in my mail yesterday (maybe Saturday, bit I didn't check). And also today I got my Wes Clark democrat I ordered off DU.
I'll be stylish at the meet-up and when voting tomorrow! ;-)
P.S. martisor is a hollyday in the old country celebrated on March 1st(and I am wearing one mailed to me)
 - a bit similar to Valentine's day, but only for girls, women. You get a little charm strung on a silk thread - 2 actually intertwined - red and white.
You wear that about 1 week (the more you have, the more boys like you) and then you tie the thread on the first branch in blosson with a wish. Comes from the Romans
