Not Your Sweetie

I just went to answer the door. The FedEx man was delivering a
package. I am wearing my Clark Button on my sweatshirt. The driver
looked at my button and said, "THAT'S ONE GUY THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE
DROPPED OUT! HE SHOULDA BEEN PRESIDENT!" I almost dropped the package
and hugged him! LOL!

I told him to keep the faith, and said maybe Kerry would pick Wes as
his VP. He said it would be the first smart thing Kerry had ever
done, and then told me he was a Republican! He said he'd "BITE THE
BULLET" and vote for Kerry if Wes were on the ticket, though. And
then went on to say that Clark was one of the most outstanding MEN
(he emphasized that word) in the race. (He said "YOU JUST KNOW THIS
GUY WAS NEVER SOME STUPID FRAT BOY.") I reminded him that Bush was a
frat boy, and he nodded, and said "AND LOOK WHERE HE'S GOT US, RIGHT?"

At any rate, we talked politics for a while and then he left. He told
me to tell "ANYONE WHO I KNEW THAT MATTERED" that Clark should be
Kerry's VP if Kerry wants to get his vote and the votes of a lot of
Republicans like him.

So, you are the people that matter... and I just told you.
