* Even given the fact that we had 3 Meetups compressed into one tonight (DC
and Northern VA) our total attendance was greater than the month before when we
still were in the race! I'm just blown away by that -- we had about 70
attendees!. We had great presentations from John Hlinko, Peter Choharis from the
Kerry Campaign, Abbi Easter from the Dem. Party of Virginia, Richard Khoe of
www.runagainstbush.com and a very basic overview from yours truly of
www.voodooeconomics2004.com. The bottom line: Don't wait from orders from HQ -- let's
move out -- start our projects -- and use our creativity to Beat Bush. Some
will want to work under the umbrella of the Kerry Campaign. Some will want to
work closely with the Dem. Party. Some will want to do things like start PAC's
and 527's. Some will even want to concentrate on dating for change
(www.actforlove.com). There is room for all of this and more. "Let a hundred flowers
bloom."

* For anyone in range -- John Kerry will do his thing Super Tuesday night in
Washington, DC at the Old Post Office at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, beginning
at 7:00 PM. They need a crowd but may ask $25.00 at the door. This will be
an interesting evening. I think Wes Clark would want us there!

* I just got more American Son DVD's from a volunteer who took back a few
from NH -- if anyone wants an American Son DVD just send me your mailing address
-- no need to send it to the whole group. No charge! FREE!
