Campaign Plans to Auction Memorabilia Friday March 12, 2004 9:10am


Little Rock (AP) - General Wesley Clark's presidential bid has ended and the campaign hopes to clear the remnants in an auction Friday morning.

Everything from Clark Bar candy bars to computers will go on the auction block this morning at Clark's downtown headquarters. Among the 350 items up for bid, 100 chairs, 50 desks, 40 computers and 20 fax machines.

Clark campaign memorabilia including tote bags, buttons and yard signs also remain. The bidding starts at 10am and the public can begin inspecting the items at 8:30am.

Report on local news about the auction at Clark HQ.  Raised about $15,000.  Unsold items to be put on eBay.  I went down there and it was very crowded.  I got some small stuff.  Lots of mouse pads. Let me see what all I've got and I'll be happy to share.

Yeah, there was a LOT of office equipment, supplies and stuff.  Must have been 50 desks,chairs. Lots of computors, telephones, fax machines, file cabinets. Some of the desks sold for $5-10. Huge banner cost $2000 sold for $85.  A shame.
