Chuck, the point has never been that Wesley Clark never made a single
mistake. The point is that EVERY politician, no matter how seasoned
and "professional" makes mistakes. They're all human. Alex noticed
the white spittle in the corner of Kerry's mouth at the televised
banquet. And God knows we've seen him bore an audience to tears.
Dean referred to the Soviet Union reigning Iran's nuclear
development, three times, on Hardball. Edwards, as slick as he is,
only has one stump speech, and remember his misstatements in the NH
debate?

But only Wes Clark's mistakes were replayed over and over, and
questioned again and again (well, until Dean made his scream). And
only Wes Clark's successes were completely ignored. The media
decided that he was an inept campaigner, and then they presented the
evidence to confirm the image they had decided to portray.
