Conference call - deanies & Edwards people

Well, I listened in on the call. Nothing earth shattering. The Deaniacs
have been having much the same kinds of conversations we have regarding
where to go. Edwards is desperate to get their support on Super Tuesday.
Hard to tell how Dean supporters break just from this small sampling (they
are not unanimous) but Edwards might get the majority who don't vote for
Dean.

Most interesting thing was the reason for Dean supporters signing on with
Edwards over Kerry. In their view, Edwards represents the "new" party while
Kerry represents the "old" party.

Edwards' spin was basically that he is the candidate of youth, vigor and the
future as opposed to Kerry whom they consider the candidate of the past;
Edwards, outsider and Kerry, insider.
