I am trying to sort out what exactly CAT's role will be in the
Democratic process of 2004 now that the General is out of the race.
I still very much want to be part of CLARK'S Action Team but only if
it's focus is to work as a unit to mobilize and support democratic
candidates (Presidential, Senate, Congressional, State) under the
leadership and vision set forth by General Clark. I have no problem
working to help the campaigns of Democrats and that would include
John Kerry but only as a member of the Clark Action Team not as a
Kerry anything. ie: Kerry's Wes Wing. I admittedly do not have
political savvy that many of you have but I am a quick learner and a
hard worker. The things I see for this group may not be anywhere
close to what the rest of you envision but I am hoping we can put
forth exactly what our goals are so I and maybe some others can
decide if we wish to continue. I am not by any means trying to force
any type of agenda here but only want to be clear where we all
stand. A good start would be if we all could post what we would like
to see as the goals for this group. This is what I am hoping the
goals of this group might be or at least something close to it.


1. A core group of Clark supports working to assist Democratic
candidates thru use of our grassroots supporters and resources
across the country.

2. Working through the use of letter writing, phone banking, and
door to door campaigning etc. for Democratic candidates across the
country for a variety of elective offices.

3. Working to mobilize and motivate support for democratic
candidates to help ensure their election in 2004.

4. We will represent no one candidate, but instead all Democratic
Candidates.

5. Our creed and motto will follow the visions and principles set
forth by our inspiration and leader General Wesley Clark and it is
Gen. Clark alone who will be our guiding force.

6. We will remain a team unto ourselves and not aligned with anyone
campaign or candidate but work to assist any and all campaigns who
are in need of our grassroots support.

7. First and foremost is helping to assist and achieve any goals set
forth by General Clark.
