I thought I would be really upset and in tears if this happened....but I'm not.  I guess that's because I know Clark still has a lot to give this country.  I wanted to see him president so badly.  But he's not disappearing, and you know that he isn't giving up on the reasons he ran.  He didn't run for his own career, for power or money.  He ran because we -- the people -- asked him to, and because he could try to change America for the better.  This sounds corny but you know it's true.
It seems to me that the thing to do is to think the same way.  The reasons we've supported him weren't just because we were betting on him in the horse race, to be on a winning team, or because he was trendy.  I think we all saw in Clark that clarity of purpose, that selflessness.  He isn't bitter.  Why should be we be bitter and angry?  Go work for the America you envisioned with Clark as president.  We'll have to find different ways to do it now, but it's still worth working for.
