I've had similar thoughts.  But Clark and his supporters shouldn't take it personally.  When I caucused in Washington State for Clark I found that other candidates' supporters really didn't know much about him.  That may be a little surprising, I know, seeing how these are ostensibly politically active (and informed?) Democrats.  Nevertheless, I was able to persuade several voters to stand for Clark.  But we were fighting against time and an unsympathetic media.  Clark didn't get the nod for lack of effort.  We can all be proud of the effort we made and we can take credit for giving his voice an entry into the national arena.
