i haven't posted anything since the news broke, but after the initial crying and numbness, reading through all the wonderful posts here has helped so much.  i want to say that it's been three years and a half since i felt inspired by and genuinely liked a politician (or in this case a candidate).  i think what hurt most here was the crash back down to earth.  i still believe clark was the best man for president and watching his speech today just confirmed it.  if only everyone had a chance to see ALL the candidates to truly make an informed decision!  there are so many people out there that still don't know about clark!  the positive side to this is that he can now make himself more known, take a more prominent role in the democratic party, and maybe in a few years he'll run again...did you see gert wink about that when she spoke?  i hope this is not his last attempt at the presidency.  general clark, you are respected, admired, and supported by many, and that number will only grow!
