About the 2/10 evening leading to endorsement

I was furiously transferring posts from CCN to my old blog to save them. hard to access them now , but a few things I put together:
At one point, Kramer announced very victoriously that there were several conversations between Clark and Kerry that night so Edwards shouldn't start counting his chickens yet.
Later, someone posted a snipet from an article where kerry was overheard talking to Clark about what he expects from RNC "My God, these people are scary" We don't know what Clark answered then, but the next day in his speech he advised the nominee to "give then hell and don't retreat"
We know that the same day Drudge came up with the Bimbo erruption - including Clark's "implosion" quote.
It makes sense to assume that this was discussed either on the 2.10 or after between the two and it lead to the endorsement in the terms it took place.
In other words, Clark neutralized a lot of the RNC script by his act - thereby earning NYT &al continuing vicious bashing.
AT LEAST FOR NOW, KERRY FEELS INDEBTED.
It's a good idea for us to keep count of these things as we deal (or not) with this anti-grassroots campaign. We are not in a position of weakness by any measure.
