CNN cut Clark's speech. It was part of his stump speech with "Kerry has the right message" plus his pledge to not let W play with national security. Some bantering: you are Navy so I say: "Permission to come aboard , the Army is here" kerry reprised "I never thought I'd have the privilege to give permission to come aboard to a 4 star general"
Clark ended by ptomissing to stand behind Kerry in this run - including the GOP mean machine.
When kerry came on - he asked Clark to come next to him _ "don't hide in the back" and then said: "You will never be behind me - but right next to me" It looked like a team - the way they were both waiving nest to each other.
