Clark was running best in this state, so he will get lots of support here as a VP.  Kerry's delegate caucus only have two delegates to elect, when the whole district was supposed to have 5 for each candidate (not enough people signed up to be delegates).  Their organization here is non-existant, and we are throwing our "Best in the State" (which is what the state director called our local group) organization to the Kerry campaign so they can have a solid field organization.
Ohio has been leaning republican for a while, so there is no one in Congress that would be suitable, and few in lesser offices state wide.
State Senator Tom Roberts, who endorsed General Clark, is the most promising democrat statewide, in my opinion.  But a Kerry/Roberts alliance is not in the cards.
