I feel like I can't breathe....I haven't been this sad and angry and bewildered all at once. Thank you General Clark! You have shed a beacon of hope over all of us about what could be - could have been :o( .  I hope those managing your campaign will never find work in politics again. You are the ultimate candidate and there is no excuse for the way they ran this campaign. They should have fought the media more and did everything they could to get your message out but they did not.
Please know that I support you 100% in whatever the future may hold for you. You are a true gentleman, soldier, scholar, and statesman. For some reason, I think it is fitting that you do not ruin that by acting like the other spoiled hypocritical politicians. I also don't regret the money or effort I spent on my first and only campaigning experience. I would not waste my time with anyone else. I am truly saddened for my country today. Please be happy and do what you want for a change, not what all of us want you to do. You deserve more than anyone I know, to be happy. You are my hero. I mean that. I never thought I'd have one but you are it. Thank you for inspiring me to do better/more with my life. After all you've done, I have no excuse. Oh, I am crying again. What is wrong with me??? Please be happy and know that you have inspired so many of us, which is what politics should be all about anyway. We just all realized that earlier than most will. Take Care and Best Wishes from a loyal Draft Clark member. - Lori A. (AL)
