I've been thinking about this....this is how the conservatives took over the
GOP. I think it is a good idea for all of us who are able to and interested to
consider the following:

1. acquire POWER within the structure rather than reinventing the wheel
or raging against the machine; become a cog in the Machine by becoming
District Committee women/men (with an eye to eventually being
Councilwomen/men, then Assembly women/men, etcetera);

A. in years to come, many of us here will have POWER in the DNC
B. we will keep connected to Wes Clark and eventually be able to
throw our accumulated POWER to support/endorse him when (not
if) he runs for President again in a few years

2. look into forming a PAC for the express purpose of supporting Clark's
candidacy

3. move to AR when he becomes Governor in 2006 and do 1 & 2
