Keep in mind when some who are thinking of Clark being appointed to a cabinet post like Secretary of State, he would most likely have to be vetted and confirmed by a majority Republican Senate......I don't know if we want to give the Republicans that much power....in determining if Clark will have a seat at the table.  VP would be more preferable for that reason.
Also keep in mind that there is a lot of time prior to Super Tuesday.....and the Republican Machine is going to be working overtime to get Democrats to want to ditch Kerry.  Fasten your seatbelts....as it will be a bumpy ride. 
The Republicans would love nothing more than ending up with an Edwards nomination.......We've seen how things have been turned upside down to date......don't think it can't happen again.
I surely hope that Kerry does get the nomination at this point....because out of the three left, he really does have the best chance of actually winning.  The other two have no chance.
Edwards is a good guy and nice to look at, but his rethoric is no match for the mean machine.  I have heard the guy speak...and although the press seems to be inamored with him, I was not at all impressed. 
I will vote for Clark in California.....unless it starts to get ugly and Kerry needs help.  2.5 weeks is a might long time on a political clock, as was evidenced.
