I post this in defense of DC, since Seegreen can't figure it out:

>From the political science/strategic side of things, I think the campaign may have actually done what it set out to do and, at the same time, performed a vital service for the party. We came into the race at a time when Howard Dean was so far ahead that no one could imagine anyone else being the nominee. Had Clark not entered, the snowball might have become so unstoppable that we would have ended up nominating, in effect, Howard the Sitting Duck, virtually guaranteeing ourselves another four years of the Crawford Cowboy. But Clark's entry took some momentum (and some media focus) away from Dean, and even though we didn't win, I think we were the force who stopped this catastrophe from occurring.
I saw the picture. Your husband is, needless to say, a very lucky man. Of course, on the virtual side of things, we are all very lucky to have had you involved with the campaign as well.
Please do keep in touch. Though the campaign was run as an outside one, it's core Democrats such as we who keep the ship going from election to election. I feel proud to have been involved in this with you.
Lots of warm fuzzies,>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
